Cookie policy

This page lists the cookies Calciopoly places on your device. It is short, because there are few.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a site saves in your browser. They can make it work (remembering that you are signed in, for example) or follow you from site to site to build an advertising profile. Those are very different things, and the law treats them differently.
2. The cookies we use
One, and it is necessary for the site to work:

3. Why you see no cookie banner
Because we do not need one. Prior consent is mandatory for profiling cookies and for third-party cookies used for tracking; it is not required for technical cookies, that is, those strictly necessary to deliver a service the user has requested (Art. 5(3) ePrivacy Directive).
Calciopoly uses no analytics, tracking or advertising tool whatsoever: no Google Analytics, no social network pixels, nothing. There is nothing to ask your consent for, so we do not bother you with a banner. The day we introduce any such tool, the banner will appear and this page will say so.
4. Managing or deleting them
You can delete or block cookies from your browser settings. Bear in mind that blocking the session cookie means you cannot stay signed in: the site will ask you to sign in again on every page. Public tournament pages, on the other hand, work perfectly well with no cookies at all.
5. Third parties
When you pay, you are taken to Stripe's payment page, which is a different site from ours and sets its own cookies, needed for the payment and for fraud prevention. Those cookies are governed by Stripe's cookie policy, not by this one.
